Biogas Installation in Ghana

We are pleased to announce that we have made significant progress on the installation of a biogas source of electricity in the children’s home in Ghana. The biogas plant is currently under construction and is expected to be completed and functioning very soon.

Sovereign House GH is committed to sustainable use of resources in order to keep our environment safe and reduce green house gas emission. In our quest to tackle climate change, the biogas plant will be used to produce stable power supply by using a clean power source.

The biogas plant will be powered by organic waste from the mission house and  children’s home, such as food scraps, manure, and wastewater. The waste will be converted into biogas through a process called anaerobic digestion. Anaerobic digestion is a natural process that occurs when bacteria break down organic matter in the absence of oxygen.

The biogas plant is a significant project, and we have been working hard to ensure that it is completed on time and within budget. We have a team of experienced engineers and contractors working on the project, and we are confident that they will deliver a high-quality facility. We are excited about the progress that we have made on the biogas installation. We believe that this project will be a significant step forward for Sovereign House GH and for the environment.

Why We Chose Biogas Over Other Sources

We chose biogas for a number of reasons. First, biogas is a renewable source of energy. This means that it will not run out, unlike fossil fuels. Second, biogas is a clean source of energy. It does not produce any emissions of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide. Third, biogas is a cost-effective source of energy. The cost of producing biogas is relatively low, and the electricity produced by the biogas plant can also be sold to the national grid or any community in demand, generating revenue for Sovereign House.

We are committed to using biogas as a clean and renewable source of energy, and we are confident that this project will help us to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly. Thank you for your interest in our biogas project. We look forward to sharing more updates with you in the future.
