Volunteer - Treasurer

Description of Role

We are looking for a volunteer treasurer to join our growing charity on a volunteer basis. You will be working with the rest of the team to facilitate the work of the charity and support its activities.

You would be help in tracking our financial out-goings, keeping records and potentially preparing cashflow and expense reimbursements. You may also help with incoming donations, and tracking how they are disbursed through our activities, assisting in the reporting and monitoring of funds received. You will help in budget analysis and forecast, managing cashflow, assessing financial risk and appraising the financial viability of proposals and feasibility studies.

We welcome self-starters, so if you see ways we could generate more funds, or use them more efficiently, this could also form part of your work.

Location:  Bury.

Skills required:

Good numeracy | Well Organized | Attention to Detail | Good with figures | Knowledge of basic accounting software

When needed:

The position will start as soon as all requirements have been checked.
Time & Day: Monday to Friday, morning, afternoon or evening as pre-arranged or agreed.
Duration: We will require a minimum commitment of 12 months.
