As one of our volunteer fundraisers, you’ll lead fundraising activities, working to raise vital funds to support the work we do and helping raise awareness of Sovereign House GH in the UK. Fundraising activities could include anything from pop-up dinners and carol singing to bag packing and recipe books. You’ll be working alongside the Manager and the rest of the team to promote the work our project does and support the work of the charity. The range and frequency of fundraising events is determined by the members themselves.
You will have full rein to develop local supporters whether they be individuals, groups or local companies – creating awareness of the charity and the impact it is making in the lives of the children, therefore you will be on hand to introduce the charity. Throughout the project, the team will be close at hand to assist you in your endeavours.

You will also work with a list of possible grants available to the charity, drafting applications, and potentially liaising with new and existing funding partners. You may be responsible for communicating activity tracking data to these partners, as they ensure funds are utilized according to their guidelines.
